LOUPE is a social design studio headquartered in Singapore. Its mission is to "make design for good even better".
As a creative think tank, LOUPE focuses on strategic communications through design with three arms offering solutions in branding and design, print, and web. As such, it strives to achieve a holistic approach to design by providing a service of client-partnership from the ideation stage to execution.
Empowered by a strong support system such as print factories to a ready freelance community, LOUPE maintains strong quality control over its executions while pairing the right talent for the right job.
LOUPE's diverse teams believe in working closely with clients. Focused on process transparency and a keen eye on design, LOUPE has had the opportunity to work on projects from diverse industries spanning from governmental, retail to charities - such as the Ministry of Education, National Environment Agency and the Handicaps Welfare Association amongst many others.
As a collective, LOUPE strives to work within the Asian principles of 真善美 (translated as Authentic, Good and Beautiful) as its core tenets. With a strong focus on result-oriented impact, LOUPE strives to utilise design as a medium to create positive social change.

The Founder - Donovan Tan
The Founder
Donovan is an Art Director and Founder of LOUPE Singapore, a social design studio headquartered in Singapore.
Over the years, Donovan has led his teams to work on high-profile projects with the Singapore government, such as the Social Innovation Learning Space with the Ministry of Education.
Apart from this, Donovan also facilitates c-suite level meetings to chart strategies for companies to achieve positive impact through design. He is adjunct faculty at the Management Development Institute of Singapore.
Donovan believes in change-making and creating social impact in Singapore's arts and design scene. He strives to build an ecosystem of art and design enthusiasts, developing talents to their fullest potential. Donovan has spoken at conferences, moderated panel discussions and interviewed on national radio on the topics of doing good with design.
Graduating with an Honours degree in Design Communication from Goldsmiths College, UK, Donovan has had the opportunity to serve as the President in the Student Ambassador Programme.
He was awarded the Ngee Ann Student Excellence Award for National Representation and Ngee Ann Scholarship Award for outstanding contribution to the arts. Donovan was also the co-founder of D3 Contemporary Dance in Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Apart from work, Donovan actively contributes to the community. He volunteers in Asian Women's Welfare Association. Donovan is also a career mentor with YoungNTUC.
He has served as Design Lead in the executive committee for Passion Unleashed: The Journey Talk Series, a non-profit talk series supported by the National Youth Council where it hopes to inspire its audience to make a positive difference in their lives and communities in Singapore.
