About the Company:
Since 2010, VeganBurg has been redefining food pop culture and comfort food with its delectable 100% plant-based menu. The fast casual restaurant is successfully pushing the limit and breaking the stereotype of how a burger could look, feel and taste like by mixing and matching colourful ingredients, daring flavours and gourmet sauces. All items at VeganBurg are 100% plant-based and cholesterol free.
Our story
VeganBurg, the world’s first 100% plant-based burger joint was founded on October 10, 2010.
A global plant-based revolution while inspiring a worldwide change.
We used to think that a plant-based diet is impossible. We’ve always respected people’s diet choices. Compelled by our love and respect for Mother Earth, as well as a desire for a healthier lifestyle, we decided to do something radical. Since then, we never looked back.
We’re committed to making the most amazing burgers. We break the stereotype of burgers and push the envelope on what a burger could look, feel and taste like.
In short, we rock with burgers and more!
Mission
Inspire and excite the world to choose a plant-based diet as a means of planet restoration.
Our promise
At VeganBurg, every burger is bursting with wholesome and natural real flavor. Every bite is not just a set of nutritional value numbers – it’s a step towards an environmentally sustainable diet. Every meal is a contribution to a better world by reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases.

About the
Director
Often referred to as the Burger Director, Alex co-founded VeganBurg, the world’s first 100% plant-based burger joint in 2010 with his wife, Tracy, and he has not looked back since.
Alex began his career in the fashion retail industry and during his five-year tenure with one of Singapore’s leading names in the market, he helped secure distributorships in Singapore and Asia for well‐known labels such as Doc Martens, Kipling, Yellow Cap and Johnston & Murphy.
His next destination was also the one which he stayed the longest. Over a span of 13 years at TAK Products & Services Pte Ltd, a company specialising in interior surfaces, Alex undertook several high-level portfolios such as Director of Product Design & Development and Director of Sales & Marketing and he was instrumental in the consistent growth of the company from a headcount of just five employees to an annual turnover in the tens of millions of dollars. While he was there, Alex co-founded Lamitak, a brand of high-pressure laminates which became a much-sought household name amongst architects and interior designers.
However, VeganBurg is where his heart lies and his passion most strong. The brand’s visionary, Alex is also a firm advocate for planet sustainability and conscious eating, Alex has been a vegetarian for over XX years and he became vegan in 201X. He is very much a hands-on person and always makes it a point to know every aspect of running the business as well as every staff in the company.
